Goal Keepers in field hockey are very much specialists at what they do, as they put themselves in front of a field hockey ball to try and stop the opponents from scoring. When purchasing your Goal Keepers stick you are looking for the following features-

1. Light: because as a goalkeeper you don't hit the ball as much or as far

2. Straight: because you want all the deflections coming off the stick to be controlled

3. Balance: you want the stick to be balanced right as you will hold it differently to a field hockey player
